About Dr. Sharrar
How I got here...
I moved to Mariposa with my family in January of 2015. I received my Doctorate of Medicine from the University of California, Davis School of Medicine in June 2004. I completed my Internship in June 2005, and my Family Practice Residency in June 2007. Both were performed at Methodist Hospital of Sacramento, through a joint program with the USC School of Medicine.
I was Board Certified with the American Board of Family Medicine from 2007-2017. My professional experience includes outpatient care in Northern California, in the Central Valley, and most recently in Mariposa and Madera counties.
I have a particular interest in Sports medicine and developed skill in performing joint injections and skin procedures. I am married with five young daughters and enjoy living and working in Mariposa. I am a student of the Bible, devoted husband and father, avid outdoorsmen and tinkerer.
I became a doctor by God's grace alone and I believe he sent me to Mariposa to serve the people here. I want to create a clinic environment where relationship is central.
