When did healthcare get so impersonal and demoralizing? The changing culture of healthcare benefits nobody except administrators and insurance companies. I have been disgusted at the barriers that outside parties create between doctors and patients, and between patients and the care they need.
Is there a solution? After researching, I found that there has been a movement over the last decade to start micro-clinics based on relationships and mutual respect. Read about how one doctor created such a clinic and helped others here.
What would be your ideal clinic? What kind of services would you like available in Mariposa? What would make you feel better about your personal care? Can we make something better for Mariposa together?
